Organizing for High Quality Professional Development:  ODE developed a handbook for educators that provides

  • guidance for educators as they develop their Individual Professional Development Plans (IPDPs), and
  • standards-based criteria for Local Professional Development Committees (LPDCs) to use in the evaluation of the IPDPs.

Master Teacher program underway

School districts must report the number of Master Teachers at both the building and district levels on the Local Report Card beginning in fall 2008, as mandated by Senate Bill 2. Click here for details. 

In October 2008, Greenville City Schools elected to participate in the county-wide Master Teacher Committee.  Miss Riegle appointed Mrs. Bernhard our district representative.
